Extra weight is held because we consume to many calories each day. While this is contributed to by what we eat, it isn't the main cause. There
are foods that reduce belly fat, and ones that contribute to keeping it on, but the better way to look at it is in the context of over all
calories.
AN EXAMPLE:
If you don't exercise much, or at all, are a 5' 10” male and weigh between 160 and 180 pounds you should probably be consuming 2400-2600
calories a day. If you're taking in 3500 calories a day then you can see why you'd be gaining or holding onto weight.

Foods to reduce belly fat
While there are some specific items that have showed promise in directly reducing belly fat what I want to talk about here are foods that
support the item above. Reducing calories.
You want to consume foods that are low in fat, and wasted sugars, and high in fiber. Lots of fruits and vegetables are great, along with whole
grains and bran. When you eat meat try to substitute red meat with fish or poultry. A great example is to make your burgers with ground turkey
instead of ground beef, this is a great way to reduce belly fat.

Exercises to Reduce Stomach Fat
If you're someone who spends time each day doing crunches and sit-ups stop. These are good exercises to develop your abdominal muscles, but
they won't burn the fat off. A combination of diet, and full body exercise that gets the heart pumping and burns calories is a better
combination.
Good exercises to lose belly fat fast are aerobics, pilates/yoga sessions, jogging, and even brisk
walking. The key is to be consistent and make a plan to exercise at least 3-4 times a week. No one really loves exercise even if it's a sure way
how to reduce belly fat, but trust me it's never as bad as you think it will be once you get started.
