We should all strive for permanent body fat loss. Losing weight, while might appear to be a short term task, is really long term. We need to consider how we're going to keep the fat off once we lose it, and of course how we can have full body fat loss safely.

Many diets, pills, and programs talk about fast fat loss. How ever it isn't always a lasting change to our bodies. Why? Simply because the changes we make to our lifestyle during the diet are to difficult to keep up forever. So what happens? We fall back into our old habits and lifestyle and the weight comes back.

To ensure you have permanent body fat loss you need to get on a program that promotes weight loss, but is also possible to maintain theoretically forever. So next time you hear someone talking about how much body fat loss they had on the newest fad diet, stop and think what will happen after the weight is gone and they stop the diet.

How to have body fat loss in the first place

There are several body fat loss diet programs. Some are easier to keep up then others. The programs you should consider should not suggest drastic changes to your diet in terms of what you eat. Calorie cutting, and removing wasted calories (i.e. Snacks, chips, cookies, cream etc.) is good. We should only be eating foods that are empty calories in moderation any way, how ever a drastic change to only soup, or vegetables isn't something you'll be able to keep up for the long term.

Instead seek out body fat loss programs that promote portion control, healthy meal planning, and regular exercise. These are the components of a healthy lifestyle that we should all be following but just got off track some where along the line.

Is there a Body Fat loss program you recommend?

There are a couple of programs I think are great for dropping those extra pounds and keeping them off. Before I mention either of them I want to stress that you don't need a diet program. You can do this on your own with some research, planning, and discipline. How ever having a book or program to follow for the first several weeks will  help you start out on the right foot.

There is a book I'll suggest anyone who is serious consider getting. The book is called The Truth about abs, how ever the title is a bit misleading. While it will reveal how you can develop a set of sexy six pack abs, it's not the only purpose of the book.

This book will provide a detailed overview of what to eat, how much to eat, and meal planning ideas. This will get your mind thinking about how to eat for body fat loss. The book then discusses fitness and exercise. This portion of the book is more geared towards developing lean muscle mass, take what you will from these chapters and leave the rest.
